Considerd to be the father of modern Chemistry.
Antoine Lavoisier was one of the first to write the first real list of elements contaning 33 of the ones we see today. He also broke the group up between medals and non medals.

he came up with the law of Octaves.
John Newlands was the first to Arange the elemnts in order of atomic weights, he also found simillarites between cirten elements. His biggest contibuation to the tabel was the law of Octaves

Lothar Meyer
He gave the tabel a fresh new look.
Lother Meyer was the first to give the tabel a freshen look as he disighned a new tabel with 56 elements by the rules of being arnaged in atomic weight, and based on properties like peridocity.

Dimitri Mendeleev
He made one of the biggest contribuations.
Prouced a new tabel based on atomic weigts but arnaged periodically with elements that had similler properties. Gaps were left for any unkown elements at the time.

Henry Moseley
Gave the tabel some of the final touches.
Henry Moseley in 1913 introdued the atomic number for each element, he also modified the periodic law to better fit the elements. He predicted that there were only 92 elements and there were 3 other unkown elemsnts.
